Blessed Inconveniences

"It is not for our sake but for the the sake of others. The beauty of the flower is not for itself. It offers itself to God's sunshine and rain, gives its fragrance to any who pass by, but it must wither and die before the fruit can be produced."
Elizabeth Elliot (from "A Path Through Suffering")

Good thought, Colleen. Elliot often has many of those... thanks for sharing it with us.

I love Elizabeth Elliot! If I could meet anyone in the world, I might pick her. I would, of course, recommend any book of hers, but this one especially is good. Check it out!
